dude, for what you spent on that thing you could have bought a genuine Benchcrafted Moxon vise hardware kit FOR LESS.
for about $50 you could have bought Acme threaded rod and nuts and a BORG 2X6 for the chops. even less for simple allthread.
i understand that you are a noob and all but you really need to ask for input before laying down that kind of quid in the future.

they even provide FREE PLANS.

And yet the Moxon is actually a different animal all together and IIRC
with no quick release. Not saying I would not like a Moxon but if you
want a a pair of Channel Lock pliers a Cresent wrench is not a good
substitute.
Each vise is better at some things than the other.
And I get free shipping from Amazon so that saves and saves.

Thanks C-Sonny.

They increased the price $32 since the day I posted the price drop.
I'm glad I don't have to kick myself.
I save quite a few dollars in general at Amazon by being an opporunity
seeker. Of course, they may have just figured a clever pricing strategy
to maximize their profit (different prices to different kinds of
shoppers). Whatever--it works for me.
