FREEMASONRY is an EVIL CULT AGAINST CHRIST

The various lodges of the Freemasons around the world are filled with
arrogant, elitist people who consider themselves loyal to God.
However, this is a lie. It is an evil cult like the Wiccans and
Neopagans. Most organized Christian churches around the world have
condemned dual membership in a Masonic lodge and the respective
churches.

ACCORDING TO THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH:

"The (Holy Council recommends) to pastors the necessity of questioning
every person presenting himself for confession with a view of finding
out whether or not that person is a member of a Masonic organization
and whether or not he shares its doctrine. If it appears that the
person is a member explain to him that participation in these
organizations is incompatible with the name of Christian, with being a
member of the Church of Christ That he must take a firm decision to
break with Masonry and with doctrines related to it; and if he does
not do so, not to admit him m Holy Communion; and if he should refuse
to repent, to excommunicate him from the Holy Church."

ACCORDING TO THE GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH:

"Freemasonry constitutes a mystagogical system which reminds us of the
ancient heathen mystery-religion and cults--from which it descends and
is their continuation and regeneration. This is not only admitted by
prominent teachers in the lodges, but they declare it with pride,
affirming literally Freemasonery is the only survival of the ancient
mysteries and can be called the guardian of them-the Masonic Lodge is
nothing else than the caves and the darkness of the cedars of India
and the unknown depths of the pyramids and the crypts of the
magnificent temple, of Isis, etc."

Similar pronouncements against Freemasonry have been made by the Roman
Catholic Church. The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod-teach that
Freemasonry is an un-Christian cult.

If you consider yourself a Christian, you can not be a Mason too.

As a former Freemason (Hoffman Lodge #412, middletown, NY), I can tell
you that the teachings of Freemasonry are totally incompatible with
the Holy Orthodox Church. Yet, I will admit, there are many, many
Orthodox Christians who are Masons, especially in the Greek church,
just as there are many, many Masons inside the Vatican.

The intelligent reader might want to note that the views of all
religious institutions except for some fundamentalist organizations
have changed towards Freemasonry and Masonic membership is no longer
considered heresy. Even the Roman Catholic Church - who would burn
you at the stake simply for not being Catholic - has modernized its
views since those days. (Why, they even pardoned Gallileo in 1986!)

Anyone with sincere questions regarding Freemasonry is invited to post
them in alt.freemasonry or the (moderated) soc.org.freemasonry.

The good thing about idiots like this, is that they will never find any
truth, as they will never be admitted to any lodge. Masonry takes a good
man, and makes him better. It is that simple. Take a look around you and
look to see how the men you know that are Masons act, talk, and work. If
you believe that is what you would aspire to be, then ask one to help you
start your journey.
And no, I'm not a Christian. That is not a requirement for admittance
into the oldest fraternity in the world. I'm a spiritual man, and not bound
by any man's idea of what religion is.
However, I do believe in the principles and foundations of my country, and
what each man believes is his own choice.
Personally, I believe any formal religion's doctrine is a fake and
fraud. That's just 'my' belief. I believe in God, but any man's
interpretation of what God wants is doomed to failure.
Under any context of investigation at all, if a person were to only take
one form of evidence to any end, they would not be doing a complete
investigation. Christains, Muslims, Buddists, Hindus, ect, only take ONE
form of evidence for their religion--- their respective "bibles". Course,
these written pages were written by the people that really , truly, want you
to believe what they are selling.
For me, I'll just not take their word for truth. I will formulate my
own, and when we all die, we'll see who was right, and who was wrong.
Oh, by the by, the current Pope received his 50 year Scottish Rite pin a
number of years ago :-) I also wouldn't put a whole lot of stock into what
a Russian church said about anything. Masons are the true guardians of
individual freedom, and that directly goes against anything preached by any
true Russian. You may wish to research the history of Freemasonry in pre
World War 11 Germany. Masonry was immediately outlawed by Hitler when he
came to power in 1933. Whatever Hitler was against, I'm usually very much
'for'.
It's too bad idiots, and purveyors of filth feel it necessary to waste
their time, and others in the furtherance of garbage upon the 'net'. But,
as has been said a lot , what goes around comes around. He/she/it will
receive their just rewards soon enough.
Rant mode off.
