My children, know you not that the Earth
And all that dwells therein
Is but a reflection of the
Kingdom of the Heavenly Father?
And as you are suckled and comforted
By your mother when a child,
But you go to join your father in the fields
When you grow up,
So do the Angels of the Earthly Mother
Guide your steps
Toward him who is your Father,
And all his holy Angels,
That you may know your true home
And become true Sons of God.
While we are children,
We will see the rays of the sun,
But not the Power which created it;
While we are children,
We will hear the sounds of the flowing brook,
But not the Love which created it;
While we are children,
We will see the stars,
But not the hand which scatters them
Through the sky,
As the farmer scatters the seed.
Only through the Communions
With the Angels of the Heavenly Father,
Will we learn to see the unseen,
To hear that which cannot be heard,
And to speak the unspoken word.

I think you just cross posted.

So is cross posting to a bunch of groups that don't care at all about this
stuff.

Of course - that was the intent, but I didn't originate the cross post.

But you do realize - the OP was not likely from this forum, so posting only
to this forum almost ensures that one's comment will not make it to that
person. Most people who crosspost as the OP did do not participate in all
of the forums that they include in their cross posts.

I'll give you that point Dave. I didn't even think - which would have been
my oversight... to eliminate this group from the post. I'll do my time in
the corner for that point.

Well, from my personal perspective, I consider it worthwhile. Even if we do
each know something, we all fall prey to operating outside of that
knowledge, so reminders (IMHO), are worthwhile. Like I said - I accept your
point, and consider it a point taken. Not wasted bandwidth in my opinion.

Nevertheless, you are perpetuating cross posting to this forum when
you include rec.woodworking in a post to another forum. In reality,
*this* forum should be your only real concern.

Sure I realize that. However, you trying to educate one person on
perceived wrongs has the very likely potential that more than one
person will respond, polluting rec.woodworking even more.
The only way around that very possible scenario is to respond and at
the same time, remove all reference to rec.woodworking from the
message. And assuming that isn't possible, because you'd be responding
from this location, you could then go to some other forum, such as
alt.binaries.test and respond from there.
Obviously, my only real concern is to limit the trash that lands here
in the .rec. Of course, some my consider this banter between us as
trash also, but it's been relatively quiet here lately, so I'm taking
the chance that I don't offend too many. :)
In any event, at least we're not discussing the original title topic
of this thread, so at the very minimum, we've improved things. :)
