Compressor leak

It is no problem to move components from an old tank to a new tank except,
you will want the new tank to be setup as close as possible as the old one.
Generally welding brackets etc to a tank changes the temper in the metal and
thus can cause dangerous "soft" spots.

Don,
Is there a reason you don't simply reply to the original post, thereby
keeping your post with the rest of the thread so it makes sense? Your
replies would be easier to understand in context, they would be easier
to access and more helpful in the archives, and you wouldn't clog up
peoples' "inboxes" with separate threads.
Granted, this is usenet, so you CAN do whatever you want. However,
this is also rec.woodworking, which is a pretty unique online
"community" with a bunch of generous and helpful people, and as such,
deserves some respect IMO.
Thanks for your consideration,
Andy

Don - I know I am not the first person to raise this point to you, but when
you change the subject line of a usenet thread, you cause the thread to lose
continuity. Clearly you believe you have something to offer, so why would
you want that thought to get lost simply because of this change?

Dang it, Don, you did it again.

Just REPLY to the post. Don't start a new thread.
