Delta X-5 6" Jointer

Purchase and read "Care and Repair of Shop Machines" by John White.
There's a part in there that'll show you how to make a set of master

Sources of help.

Dealer you bought the machine from

Delta Technical Service. Call customer service and tell them you want
to talk with someone in Technical service that can walk you through
it. For the DJ machines they have a service bulletin that they can
send out on how to adjust eccentrics to coplaner the tables and adjust
the fence. Yours is a wedge bed so I'm not sure they have one for it,
but it is worth a call.

In these days of just in time manufacturing, castings are no longer seasoned
and Delta Jointer tables have been know to warp (even on the DJ20). If the
jointer was fine when you first got it I can't see the gibs needing
adjustment after only a year. X5 stands for extended 5 year warranty and
Delta usually provides excellent service. Get on the horn to Delta.
