DoD Identifies Marine Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two
Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.



Lance Cpl. Jonathan K. Price, 19, of Woodlawn, Ill., died Jan.
13 from wounds received as a result of enemy small arms fire while
conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He
was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II
Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.



Cpl. Justin J. Watts, 20, of Crownsville, Md., died Jan. 14 from
an apparent non-hostile gunshot wound in Haditha, Iraq. He was assigned to
3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine
Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif. His unit was attached to the
2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. His
death is currently under investigation.
