Went to my favorite getten place to buy some Baltic birch and some 4/4
cherry and they had a pallet of "lyptus", It's a hybrid of some eucalyptus
tree farm grown in South America. Looks a lot like cherry but lighter and
very pinkish. The boards were all straight, long, knot free, with a very
pleasing grain. The guy said it was harder than hard maple and machined very
well. Has anyone used this and how did it work and finish??
