DoD Identifies Army Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two
soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died in Baghdad,
Iraq on Feb. 26, when an improvised explosive device detonated near their
HMMWV during patrol operations. Both soldiers were assigned to the 1st
Squadron, 71st Cavalry, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division of
Fort Drum, N.Y.
Killed were:
Spc. Clay P. Farr, 21, of Bakersfield, Calif.
Spc. Joshua U. Humble, 21, of Appleton, Maine.
