Wanted: blade guard & anti-kickback on Jet cabinet saw

I recently picked up a used Jet JCS-10 right tilt saw (the older "Blue
Ox"). In very good condition but missing the blade guard/anti-kickback
device. The former owner was going to see if he could find it - said he
took it off and never used it so "God knows where it's at" (apparently ,
He's not telling).

I've heard various comments that the stock guard is a P.O.S. and others
who add that they took theirs off and replaced it with...

Anyone have a stock setup for this saw that they'd like to unload? If
so, let's talk.

Anyone replace the OEM guards with an aftermarket? If so, whose product
and how do you like it? Cost?

Thanks. Post here or privately, the e-mail addy is a good one.

I replaced the stock blade guard with a Delta Uniguard (I think that's
the name) It's the two piece guard suspended by a U-shaped tube that
bolts to the rails. Cheaper than the others, works great, but no dust
collection capability. As for the splitter/anti kick-back pawls, I just
took the original blade guard off the stock unit. There are some
quick-change ones available for the Jet, but I haven't seen the need,
since it takes about 20 seconds to loosen the 3 bolts and
remove/install the stock unit.
