Did Leon and Co. set a record for the longest thread in Wreck history?

Can anyone recall a longer thread than the SawStop thread? Just curious

To name a few:

The split the newsgroup threads.

The Nahm sucks threads.

The handtool vs. power tool threads.

Any OT political thread.

Craftsman tools: Bad or horrible?

Bennett Leeds vs. Ed Bennett (or anyone else, for that matter)

Your Canuck link didn't work for me, so maybe you're right.

IDAGS and got:
<http://www.google.com/groups?as_q=mailbox&safe=off&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&as_ugroup=rec.woodworking&lr=&num=100&hl=en>
aka http://tinyurl.com/gn10 shows stuff back to '95. Please
note that the start of the actual dialog was not titled
"mailbox baseball"; it started long before that and moved
from the mailbox posts to how-to-build-box to pukey boxes
to how to build a baseball-bat-safe box. Genetically, the
thread is quite advanced. </irony>

P.S: Read Rob Ramrath's '93 post about digging post holes.
The man had good, good karma.

P.P.S: Look out for a '94 post by Paddy. It contains raw
lyrics of hillbilly songs 'bout Satanleys. Turrible!

He started it, and I decided to stoke the fire, as it were.

Anyone remember the thread about putting spikes in the lawn to keep lazy
drivers from cutting the corner? IIR, that was a pretty long one too.
