This is either a very good thing or a very bad thing. Time will tell.

It was buried in the WSJ about a week ago. IIRC, the parent company is
Chinese, but it appears there are also some American partners involved.
The CEO looks to be a beancounter, and was in upper management marketing
in previous companies, so you can almost bet who's going to benefit
first ... the mantra will probably be corporation before consumer.
Hope its not another one of those Rockwell moves ... buy an old
respected name in the tool business and direct the new "price point
engineered" crapola to the DIY market.
I got a kick out of the press release from the State they will be
headquartered in ... basically welcoming this old established
manufacturing company to their state ... yeah right, all of two weeks
old. :(
BS is getting stacked higher and higher ...

If it's a bad thing, will Delta machinery be built in a DIFFERENT
Chinese noodle factory, or what?
