Hey swingman, you must feel Festool naked after watching this guy. He
obviously uses the tools and is a walking advertisement for Festools.
Doncha wanna rum out and buy a few more Festools? LOL
I am impressed by the fact that he can build some cabinets in a totally
portable environment. It may not be the high end of the market. But the
materials are good and he is turning out a product that does the job. And
he can do so without a lot of sawdust blowing all over the place. Very nice.

I have to make a TV cabinet ASAP. Cross between the famous bed surround
and one of these built-ins, I think. Good Festool and Kreg commercials,
weren't they? Wonder what HVLP sprayer will come up ...
<grin in appreciation!>

Update the old wish list constantly.

Festool really shines, and is elegantly ideal, for "built-in" cabinetry
on site and, unless you can bring your cabinet saw to the job site, it
beats hell outta anything else, hands down.
Their components really shine as a "system" ... the old "the whole is
larger than the sum of the parts" effect as far as time and efficiency.
That said, if you're missing any component of the system, repeatable
precision, as with any other system, becomes more fussy and time consuming.
Since we only design/build the kitchens in the houses we build (or do
full kitchen remodeling "from the studs"), and I'm not at all a fan of
"built-in" kitchen cabinets for a number of reasons, Festool remains an
excellent auxiliary choice for us.

I lurk on FOG and watched them from there. You got a real relaxed style
dude, except when you punch holes with that router! :)
