I love their slab tables. These guys are artists. I am sure their prices

Nor for the weak. Those slab tables are, no doubt, heavy as heck.
I would encourage everyone to attempt/make a slab project. It's a challeng=
e (large end grain areas!), fun and its hard to go wrong with a natural edg=
ed piece. *A note about large areas of end grain: Don't allow your sweat =
to drip on finish sanded end grain. The spot will raise and you have to re=
sand. End grain sanding, to perfection, is much harder work than on faced=
surfaces!!! Moist sweaty hands will affect the wood, also, requiring resa=
nding.
