Happy Thanksgiving Day from Kanuckistan.

To all my fellow dust- shavings and noise makers, I wish you a very
pleasant and accident-free Thanksgiving Day from mine to yours.

We all have a lot to be thankful for, because this is a day when we can
all agree that the dark meat is better than the white....that MY mother
makes better mashed potatoes than yours....etc..etc.

I am thankful that many of you take the time to offer suggestions and
helpful hints to many of my (and others') questions.... and for not
heckling me too much when those questions border on the stupid.

We had our thanksgiving a few weeks ago. (We do this so we can stuff
ourselves, then plop down on the couch and watch Oprah and other regular
day-time programming.)

I was at the Borg the other day and held in my hands a package of felt
pads. They are adhesive-backed and meant to go on the bottom of chair
legs.....and thought: "wouldn't they go nice on the inside of the jaws
of many of my clamps..."
...was that too obvious to have missed all these years???
Let me know if you had thought of that... the more that tell me that
they have used them that way, the more stupid I will feel.... another
thing to be thankful for.

Cheers!!

Rob

... and to you and yours also. I got to take time off this week; so I've
been blessed with some shop time as well -- something else to be thankful
for.

I'm more a white meat and ham person myself. I'm glad others like the
dark meat, leaves more white meat for the rest of us. :-)

What a neat idea! I'll have to check that out in the future.
