old straight boards and cuts

am reusing some old pure heart redwood fencing
the fence was put up in the 1950's early part i think

i am using them for shelves and the wood is beautiful
most people throw the stuff in the trash

anyway i am cleaning up the edges on the table saw and these boards
are so straight it make the job really easy

the cuts are easily as straight as the cuts from the table saw
not as smooth of course but super straight still after all these years

Glad to hear you're doing that. No point in wasting good wood. Around here
most people do not throw the stuff in the trash. Maybe it depends on where
you live. Around here, good old wood is salvaged.
