Is there such a thing as "standard" dining table sizes?

Thought I'd pick your brains a little--I make handmade table linens and am
trying to figure out some average sizes --are there standard sizes for
tables?
Would appreciate comments :)

What you could do is go by Bed, Bath and Beyond, Wal Mart, K Mart, etc. to
get a look at what they consider standar linen sizes and there are a few of
them.

There are standard sizes of linens, but a lot of people have to make do,
because there are no real standard sizes in tables. About as close as you
get is 20-24" or 50-60 cm per place setting.

That's your "hook" - custom sizes!
