Showcase 2009 will be the Eighteenth annual Fine Woodworking Show
presented by the Northeastern Woodworkers Association. To be held
Saturday and Sunday (9:00AM to 5:00PM) March 28 and 29, 2009,
Showcase 2009 will present the following array of attractions to 4000
members of the general public.
A 20,000 sq. ft. fine woodwork gallery displaying hand crafted
furniture, woodcarving, scrollsawing, woodturning, marquetry,
miniatures, musical instruments, and all manner of wood objects made
by amateurs and professionals working in wood.
A 13,000 sq. ft. vendors area with 83 vendor booths displaying and
selling all the toys and tools of woodworking.
Continuous demonstrations of woodcarving, woodturning, and
scrollsawing.
A toy Factory making and giving free toys to youngsters in attendance.
A wood Miser continuously lumbering logs into boards.
Four classrooms presenting hourly free lectures to attendees on all
manner of woodworking related topics.
A raffle of hand crafted wood objects made by local artisans.
The excitement of 4000 attendees enjoying the colors, toys, tools, and
the smell of fresh cut wood.
This year Totally Turning, a woodturning Symposium , will be held at
