Well I did. (and I believe LRod did as well). My first show ever. Pretty
cool actually. Got to see lots of demos. Blades, bits, jigs and fixtures.
Seems like Wood Magazine sponsored a lot of the larger sessions.
A few of the things I enjoyed:
Kreg (bought the pro pack w free clamp, video, and cd)
I liked the flat drum sanders (the kind with the drum under a table you
manually push across the drum.
The bandsaw demos.
Just getting to see some tools and equipment I've never had the chance to
see before.
Jet, Mini Max, Laguna, Bosch, Milwaukee were there. Probably the most
impressive piece of equipment I saw was the Mini Max 16 Band Saw - first
class tool !
Spent a couple hundred on odd and ends. I'll definitely go again.
