Just ignore them! Or make use of that "block sender" feature.

I totally agree. We need to get rid of all the trolls, and certain
annoying regulars like Bay Area Dave.
Or you could try using Mozilla ass your newsreader. Built in spam
filter, and it works quite well, imho..

well, at least this wasn't the usual "lets have two NG's one for tools
and the like, and one for everything else"
*SIGH*

Norman:
I agree!
The first, natural question that springs to mind is when do you - or I -
start?
This is, in my opinion, a good idea at this time due to the fact of the
crap having gotten - SO FAR - out of hand.
BUT: I, as I am sure applies to most others, simply don't have the time
to do the job PERIOD, let alone competently!
While the situation does, I think, justify this at this time, I admit it IS
representative of the proverbial 'slippery slope' and for that reason,
I feel most will dismiss it. Moderators DO tend to become QUITE
autocratic with time, I've observed, and today's 'crap' becomes
tomorrow's differing opinon(s). You all know what I mean.
As some have pointed out, there are the 'kill-filters'/variations,
depending upon the newsreader the individual uses.
But one point here: I, as many, have only a VERY limited amount of
time typically, to view the groups I read and DO NOT want to spend
most, if not all of it, wading through posts, selecting, then 'kill-filing'
EACH, EACH TIME whichever SCHMUCK this week has - however
MINUTELY - altered his/her/it's addy &/or ISP!
ALL, in the interest of what?...... Saving my time!
In my OPINION, a moderator, while arguably onerous ordinarily, has
become a necessity - IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN - but I think the
time has come!
Also, since I can't offer any tangible help, I'll say nothing more unless
asked. - Which I don't anticipate...
Warmly, Griz
