My Friends call me Bobby.

Look. Dude. I, and most of the people in this group, would agree that
we are sick and tired of the carnage that is taking place overseas. It
is, no doubt, a sickening sight to behold and all of your posts are
warranted. It is the reality of warfare, which, per your previous
posts, you have witnessed first hand. If that is actually true, then
let me be the first to thank you for keeping all of us free from a
world of tyranny and strife. You, as an American citizen, should not
only be appreciated, but commended for all of your hard work to gather
the data and spread it to the American public. Furthermore, you should
be encouraged to spread the word to every American citizen, for this is
information that is typically shielded from the general population. But
we ALL must use caution. The Internet is an incredible machine that
most of us, including me, are just now realizing how to harness. If
used unwisely there could be possible ramifications that we might not
want in the future. The more we find ways to abuse the Internet, the
more people will find ways to restrict our communication. We must all
keep in mind that any information, especially newsgroups and email, can
never be erased, and will be visible to all mankind for thousands of
years (should we live that long).

That being said, many of us in this particular newsgroup are puzzled
and bewildered that someone is posting all of this data to this
particular newsgroup, which should be a place of peace, creativity, and
exchange of ideas. Please keep in mind that young people do frequent
this newsgroup. I am sure that if and when you have children you would
certainly not like them to experience some of the language we have seen
presented here. I guess the bottom line is that we all agree with you,
the killing must stop, but there are other forums and communication
avenues that we could explore without damaging rec.woodworking or
making it less enjoyable.

Again, let me tell you that I think you are doing the right thing, just
in the wrong place and that using the word "Oops" in the subject
line belittles the core idea of the stories you post.

You've been one annoying pain in my ass. And I haven't even complained
about it (out loud) until now. I've been dealing with it, quietly,
privately for months. But now that you bring it up, I'm hopeful you might
just follow your own suggestion. Would you please do me the favor of
reciprocating my kindness to you ("leaving you alone") by no longer
bugging me with all this OT crap ("leave me alone")? Or at least give me
some simple foolproof way of eradicating your posts from my life, without
missing out on the stuff I'm interested in? I'd sure appreciate it.

Remember this I didn't ask you. Don't play befriend him with coy agreement

Look, instead of poking my ass with a stick, you should have tried this
approach first! As for why I'm here I'm a wood worker too. and many of the
dead and wounded are fellow wood workers and some future ones. CNN & ABC and
the rest of the Media got tired of listing all the names and it took up to
much valuable airtime and commercial time.) They have been reduced to
non-news events. Nobody speaks for them anymore.

As for the oops, these deaths and wounded by my Presidents own account a
OOPS a mistake. Get real mo WMD's and add insult to injury they only charge
Saddam with killing 146 people, (What happened to the 10's of thousands he
supposedly killed? Where's all the mass graves they hawked) shit we're up to
30K civilians killed so far! The DOD using Hummers in place of
APC's.(Mistake) With Trillions of our Dollars, these troops are fighting
with Korean and Vietnam Era equipment and supply's. (Mistake)The poor
National Guard and weekend warriors for the most part the spear of this
fight. (Mistake) Then Read the DOD IR Posts, these guy's are dying almost
always from IED's and not one Pentagon Rocket Scientist could solve this
stupid shit and protect these guy's. I'd pray I'd get incoming then to step
on a mine much less IED's!

See the difference between me and the sawdust kids is I have two things
nobody so far has here semper fi and Esprit De Corp while the knuckleheads
demand mediocre and piss poor performance, I demand and expect the
best......................................and I'm certainly not fond of the
bellhops either.

See I also know the Freedom of Speech, I don't tell anyone what they can and
can't say, it isn't my right and certainly not yours or where either. I
don't add my own personal views or perspective to this, I just paste the DOD

and flood this group until in vanished........Well within my scope, skill
