Screw question.

I am making some drawers for the garage that will be used for tools
etc. I have some 20 inch long ball bearing drawer slides that are rated
at 100lbs, and are full extension slides. The drawers will be made from
plywood.

What screws would you recommend? I was thinking #6 1/2 inch.

Thanks.

IIRC the full extension drawer slides typically come with #8 x 1/2" long
screws. You should easily be able to go as large as what will fit the
holes. A word of warning however before committing to a particular screw,
test the screw and make sure that the slide will close fully with out the
head of the screw interfering with the travel.

Use the hardware recommended by the manufacturer of the drawer slides.

If I had that information I would not be asking.

typically, #8 pan-head, 5/8"

That's what K&V calls for, for their 8400-series 100lb, full-extension slides.
