Thanks for the link. I watched the flick. Didn't change my opinion

ABB crowd either.

The best thing about the other political party is that it keeps your
side from running amuck when in power.

Since you banned all OTs, you missed some wonderful OT smut reproduced
here for your morning amusement and amazement:
Three old ladies named Gertrude, Maude and Tilly were sitting on a park
bench having a quiet conversation when "Ed the Flasher" approached from
across the park.
The flasher came up to the ladies, stood right in front of them and
opened his trench coat.
Gertrude immediately had a stroke. Then Maude also had a stroke, but
Tilly, being older and feebler, couldn't reach that far.

Not really sure. He had a way of evading filters, but then he just disappeared.
By that time, I must have had two dozen filters for his varied guises.

He's been back for a while. Remember he was getting a cable-modem. And this
new david (with the same annoying top-posting style) has returned, posting from
a comcast news server.
He's actually been quite restrained for the last couple of months with most of
his posts relatively on-topic and somewhat germane. Until this thread, anyway,
and his old style has returned.

Well, of course I could, but my *newsreader* couldn't. So, it ends up
offering it to me to read. If it had been marked OT or Pol:, I have it
carefully trained to *not* offer it up for me to read. I am hardly the
only one to have a set up like this. Marking your OT post as OT is
simply being polite when you intrude into a woodworking group with
non-woodworking material and makes life easier for many of us.
OK, I lied a little: I often read posts marked OT. However, the recent
rushes of politics makes it painful so I temporarily banned OT posts
from my system too. It's not that I don't care about politics or even
find them interesting (or love discussing it), I just find the
discussions here somewhat unfruitful and -- being a woodworking group --
would prefer if -- at minimum -- people would simply mark them as such
(i.e. Pol:). I am not holding my breath though.

Cold and damp, huh? That doesn't sound too inviting. It's overcast
here today but the shop is warm enough to be comfortable in a Tee shirt.
