Sooner or later people will figure out what a screwing debit cards
truly are.

You have better odds playing Russian roulette and taking the first
shot
with all chambers filled.

In the mean time, assume the position while the banks just smile.

Having spent several years working with ethnic contractors and
distributors was good enough to qualify as earning a "street business
PhD".

You learn there are lots of ways to play the "float".

You don't learn that kind of stuff in a classroom.

Could tell you "Bernie" stories for hours involving Bernie, an
electrical contractor, who carried the tattoo on his arm and was the
only one of his family to make it out of Auschwitz alive.

His reputation proceeded him., but you had to love the guy.

When all was said and done, he was a lot of fun.

A debit card transfers all the normal charge card functions and
protections from the bank to the debit card holder.

A debit card holder pays first, not last like a charge card.

The bank uses your money, not the other way around.

A debit card holder does the bank's work that is included with a
charge card in the event of a dispute..

Unlike divorce , the screwing you get for the screwing you got, a
debit card is the screwing you get for the screwing you didn't get.

There is more, but you get the idea.

The only thing a debit card does is provide fiscal discipline for
those who don't have it.

It's as good as cash, and therefore a bargaining chip with small vendors who
don't want to screw with CC charges and effort.
