Husky tool history...

Inneresting... and short.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Husky_(tools)

Essentially Husky is now a division of Stanley (for HD).
At one time, Husky hand tools were indeed on par with Williams, SK,
Armstrong, Snap-On, etc. Still not bad if they in fact have that
easy-exchange lifetime guarantee.

I'm a big fan of their compressors, which have all the "right" features:
cast iron, belt drive, oil lube, 220 wire-able motor. Also quiet.

Not a bad history for a company changing hands, ought to still be a while
before HD turns it into total shit.
