DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier
who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. James W. Gardner, 22, of Glasgow, Ky., died in Tal Afar,
Iraq, on April 10, from a non-combat related cause. Gardner was assigned to
the 1st Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade,
101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
