Two Oklahoma Soldiers Killed In Iraq

- Two 21-year-old soldiers from Oklahoma were killed in Iraq during the
weekend.
The sister of Joshua Pearce of Guymon says Pearce died Sunday when the Army
vehicle he was in hit an explosive device near Baghdad. Two other American
soldiers also died in the explosion.
And the mother of Army Private Joshua Powers of Skiatook says Powers was
killed Saturday in southern Baghdad. Details of Powers' death weren't
immediately known.
Pearce joined the Army after graduating from Guymon High School in 2003.
Powers joined the Army last July.
Funeral services for both soldiers are pending.
