*Marines, don't want to die. They learn that lesson when your best friend
from boot just got his face blown off or your stuffing his intestines back
in the hole they fell out of. They aren't suicidal psycho freaks. They
aren't fighting for God or Country or Democracy or even Freedom, they fight
to stay alive, to survive! They do have a preference though with their boots
on and empty magazines, a smoking barrel and as quickly and completely as
possible.

Viet Nam was a lie, I knew it and everybody in my Battalion and everybody
else over there knew it and even the ones that died there knew it. We would
read the papers sent from home
and see how we were winning the War and looking around thinking we were in
the wrong place and the wrong war. I was AT, (After Tet) when they started
to quietly bring
troops home leaving less and less of us to fight. That sucked bigtime! I did
my time in hell and 7 years after. I answer to no god or man alive! Pussy

During Both Korea and Viet Nam we condemned Communism the Greatest Threat to
Democracy but never stopped trading with Russia and China who took those
American dollars to kill more of us. Domino Effect yeah right!

Iraq, another one Saddam buying weapons from America as quickly as it sold
oil to
us. So he was killing his people! We don't care about people! Rumsfeld
shakes his hand!

What I did learn is that the Military, the Soldiers don't run the wars,
politicians do.
You know that when they sent up the space shuttle the Challenger and it blew
up, politics decided that it didn't look good to delay it again, while
science and all the engineers said don't. Who
knows better? Politics also bought the Hummers. Find one soldier in Iraq
who'd pass on an old M113? Find one! I had to fight and finagle just to keep
a found 14. They're even fighting with equipment from the Korean War in
Iraq! I pity the Reservists they get shit and killed to save Washington
money! Fighting a war God told Bush to start. God doesn't even talk to the
Pope, but hot damn he talks to Dubai.

The last point I'll make is that I thought war was bad, until I worked in
a VA Hospital in Baltimore for 2 weeks then I quit! But remember all those
shot
up guy's from as far back as WWII still bed ridden in the most sickening of
environments. While 30 minutes away the Congressman and Senators pat
themselves on the back give themselves raises and then cut the VA's budget!
See VA Hospitals aren't like Civilian ones, the nurse to patient ratio is
almost nada! At times one wing one nurse, and think that many couldn't even
get
out of bed and just laying there in their own excrement and urine! I cried
for them and still do, I know what they did and what they lost and how we
paid them back with indifference and ignore them until they die!
