Note To JOAT: Astronauts Paint Their Tools Too

I were at the Franklin Institute today and saw a display of used
Astronaut's Tools. The damned hammer had orange paint on it. Of
course I immediately thought of JOAT.

They also showed a tool with a Borg joke on it.

Sorry for the picture quality. Only had the camera on the PDA, which
sucks.

Pix on ABPW.

I am appalled you would have thought of me. I feel defamed. You
know I only paint my tools yellow.

Strange, I see people saying they saw your post there, but it's not
there for me. Discrimination? I'll have to check again later.

I also saw a lot of spam over there, much more than I recall
happening. Have people stopped reporting those little twits? I admit,
reporting them doesn't have a lot of effect, but every once in awhile
one is nailed. I think the more people that report one of those little
no-lifes, the more apt their server is to drop them.

I reckon that astronaut woulda painted his yellow too, 'cept for the
moon being made of cheese and all sose it woulda blended in too much,
don'tchaknow.

I figger the one astronaut got pissed off at the other astronauts
leaving his hammer out lying around and decided to spray a little
orange paint onnit.

D'ya think they got pegboard onna spaceship with outlines fer the
tools sose the astronauts know when they're missing?

Mebbe not.

I have to wonder how splotches of orange paint got on the hammer. I
can imagine how this might happen in my shop but I wouldn't expect
'extra' puddles of paint lying around on any of the spacecraft.

Thanks for the photos. That torque wrench looks just like the one I bought
from HF. Heh heh.
