I am looking for a reputable supplier for such things as table layouts
(the marked cloth), foam/fabric arm rails, folding legs, card shoes,
chip holders, ect,,,. .One of my clients ordered from Casinosupply in
Texas and was ripped off big time. So if you can recommend some company
, please do so. Thanks, JG
Do a google on "gamblers general store". They are located in Las Vegas.
Be warned though, that "professional" felts are $80.00 (40"x80" I
think), while "home" felts (36x72) are $30.00. They also have the other
stuff you want, except padded rails. You'll just have to make that
yourself I'm afraid.
Also check on ebay. They have trays, chips, discard trays, money boxes,
felts, etc. You just have to know what prices are worth it with shipping.
I've been meaning to build my own BJ table, but just haven't gotten
around to it. I'm using a 72"x36" felt, and a hollow core door for the
table. The predrilled knob hole is right where I can put the chip tray. :)

Poker table? Layouts? Marked cloth? Foam/fabric Arm rails?
Etc.? You must be one of those buys from up north, because you're sure
not from around here.
You probably play some of those weird "poker" games too, don't ya?
When have you ever seen Mavrick play poker at a table like that?
John Wayne? Ever? I didn't think so.
In truth, if I was ever invited to play poker (5 card stud, 7 card
stud, 5 card draw, nothing wild - "real" poker, in other words), I'd
have definite suspisions of the poker playing seriousness of anyone
owning a table like you've described.
A nice table would be one with a plain, green felt top, possibly a
ante circle marked, but that's it. Wooden edge/rail, chip trays would
be good (slots for stacking chips would be nice, but not a necessity).,
possibly drink holders - if nowhere else to sit a drink. Reasonably
comfortable chairs, prefer with arms. Chips, and a few new decks of
cards, good (preferably overhead) light, no smoking, and that's it. Oh
yeah, some people who are actually serious about playing poker - which
does no necessarily meant big statkes - peeny ante, dime limit, can make
a very good game, with no one getting hurt badly moneywise.

Hi JOAT,
Actually I play cards on my kitchen table. And it works! However, it seems
that some people like to have a "proper " poker table for their games room.
Then I often get a call later to make a cover for the unit that makes it
look like my kitchen table when not being used for poker. Go figure. Cheers,
JG

Thanks for your help guys. Looks like two good suppliers. The "professional"
BJ felt is one of the things we were looking for. Cheers, JG

At least you are honest about it

Thats ok, I am a computer geek and my woodworking tools, what little I have,
will most likely have computer parts on them :-)
Clif
I sell poker chips if anyone needs that type of thing.
I have 11.5g dice pattern chips.
check them out at www.stonehousegaming.com.
The price stated on the website is $110 shipped but I'd go $85 to your
door. I have acrylic chip racks as well (3$ each) but I haven't put
them up on the site yet.
Basicaly the site was a test that I haven't gotten around to changing
yet.
BTW I'm a woodworker by hobby so this isn't a troll but it is kinda a
spam.
The chips are stored under my TS outfeed so they will ahve some
sawdust on them to prove it.
