Some of you have probably seen this already, but for the others there's
a video of the new saw in action (complete with attempted "hot dog-icide
") at:
http://www.taunton.com/finewoodworking/ToolGuide/ToolGuideArticle.aspx?id=30456
There's a more complete review at:
http://www.taunton.com/finewoodworking/ToolGuide/ToolGuideArticle.aspx?id=30455
Pricing is a bit steep though...base model with aluminum fence is $1500,
but with the Bies fence, cast wings, and mobile base it will end up over
$2K.
Chris
- A new Saw Stop contractor saw with all the bells and whistles... $2k
- Saftey glasses and ear protection... $100
- 50 bf of Cherry... $350
- Not missing any fingers... priceless
