$129.60/bf @ $1800
$360.00/bf @ $5000

That doesn't warrant a mere chuckle.

Thu, May 24, 2007, 8:01am [email protected] (Brent=A0Beal) doth query
in disbelief:
Since when is it not available east of the Mississippi?

Ever since the California governor learned how to pronounce
Mississippi.

I come up with $10.85 per bf at the $1800 price and about $30.12 per BF for
the $5000 retail price. Still kinda pricey.

There are 166.67 BF for sale.

2 in. X 4 in. X 12 in. = 96 sq. in. per L ft.
96 cu. in. X 250 L ft.=24000 cu in.
2400 cu. in. / 144 cu. in. = 166.67 bf

Of course it will cost that much. Since he delivers, he has to pay for the
limousine and the five star hotel on the way and the lobster and steak
dinners for the accompanying staff and their four star hotel suites.

I was assuming rough cut but you are probably right in that particular size
material.

That's what I came up with...

The way the ad is written the pieces could be short random lengths of cut
offs... I'd expect someone to say 31 @ 2X4X8 or something like that if it
were dimension 2X lumber.
